Malaysia Passport is a valid travel document issued by the Malaysian Government for the purpose of traveling abroad. Malaysia Passport is the property of The Government of Malaysia and it may be withdrawn at any time if the Immigration Department is satisfied that the passport is used contravene against the Passport Act 1966. The holder is fully responsible for the security of the Passport.

Validity for Malaysia passport is five (5) years or two (2) years from the date of issued. Biometric passport cannot be modified due to the 'write once' policy by ICAO. Renewal of Malaysia passport for the new passport that has a validity of 6 months or less, the new one will have 5 or 2 years validity plus maximum 6 months remaining validity in the old passport. Renewal can be done at any of Immigration Offices or Malaysian Representative Offices overseas. Check here for the address and location map of the offices.

Apart from immigration control, one of the primary role of RTC Pahang Immigration Office is accept and process of passport application. The passport will be ready in 3 working days as this is recipient office.
