Malaysia Passport Application Procedures

Below is an outline of Malaysia Passport application procedures (new / renewal) :

Above 12 years old

• Original MyKad
• Original Birth Certificate / Citizenship Certificate (if applicable)
• Old passport (for renewal case)
• Police Report (for lost passport case)
• Passport Fee (check the price here)

Below 12 years old

• Original Birth Certificate
• Original Mother / Father / Guardian MyKad
• Old passport (for renewal case)
• Police Report (for lost passport case)
• Passport Fee (check the price here)

Note: The Malaysian International Passport is not extendable. Upon expiry, a passport renewal application must be made to replace the expired passport.

Note: Applicants aged 13 years old and above are advised to renew their passport online. First time applications, children below 13-year-old and lost / damaged passport cases are NOT allowed to apply via this platform.
